The reason I started this group was to inform people not only on our history but also positive ways to battle and embrace what we go through as a community. Racism is a word that would never die; it is runs hand and hand with ignorance, neck and neck with hatred. We have to learn productively and positively how to distinguish racism. Now, Yes words are much easier to say than do and even this weekend I was tested in this field but I just walked away. Racism forms from two sources: 1. It was breed Meaning that it was taught and handed down from generation to generation. 2. It was produced There was an act committed against someone whose reaction produced racist views. Ways to peacefully counteract. Walk away...many times this may seem hard but negative confrontation especially physically defeats the purpose and also show the aggressor that their stereotypical views are correct. Engage in conversation....because many people have been breed views or there views where produced from a situation, once you engage in why they may of called you something out of line or made a statement that is full of racist undertones you can usually find the root of where the racism is coming from. “My people parish from lack of Knowledge”....so from the conversation you may be able to turn their thoughts into positive views. Racism is infectious and consuming, if someone is full of it, I can guarantee that it is weighing them down inside and they are just looking for someone to give them a voice and help them let go. NOW....I want to let my people know that there is NO Excuse for racism, I have heard over and over that because of 400 + years of torment and injustice we have a RIGHT to be bias against whites. Because we are still being lynched via jail cells and the KKK is now in 3 piece suits, wear badges and answer to the name MR. President...we have a right to have our racist views against them. I said we do NOT...(this is just my opinion) Love is the only way to conquer hate....I am not saying don’t be cautious, I am not saying don’t keep your third eye on the man....I am stating we have to be PART OF THE SOULTION NOT THE PROBLEM. ~~Nubiangraphics aka Nya~~ I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality.... I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word. ~Martin Luther King, Jr. (What are ways that you battle racism?)

Most of the time it comes from the choices we have made; but what happens when it’s not by your choices you have made but life just dealt you a bad hand?
We find ourselves being torn from one end of the spectrum to another all to find out that we have been beaten down. And we wonder does anyone really care about you is any one else facing the same issues that you are experiencing? If this sounds like you then please join and find out more about the group.
Many times when we are hurting we tend not to tell anyone and we do this for various reasons rather it be we think we can handle it we don’t want no one in our business we don’t want to burden anyone else.
